It is really hard to believe that a year has gone by since I graduated high school and went off to college. I am now two weeks in to my summer break and I am wondering, where did time go? Well, time to sum up my break so far and my last day as a freshman at Simpson University. To be honest my time at home has been slow since I was used to my on the go college life. It is weird not being in school but cool at the same time. I remember my last day of Simpson like yesterday. My dorm room was really empty and all my stuff was in boxes. I slept in my bed and the dorm felt sort of cold and lonely. I was tired and my roomies were out somewhere and so it was quite lonely. I made myself a skype account and I was trying to talk to my friend Mariah because she left that day but it didn't work out. I was tired and so I clocked out around 11:00 pm.
I finished packing up early and I then said goodbye to one of my room mates who just left that morning. I remember eating lunch with my friends one last time and it was cool even though half of the group was missing. Then we went back to the dorm and my friend Courtney started moving out. It was said seeing them leave off one by one but school was over and so everyone including myself was out.
Summer so far for me is quite slow but relaxing. I have been keeping in touch with people on facebook and I just figured out how to use skype the other day and that was fun. I miss my friends so much but I really like the fact that I get to spend quality time with my family and my church. I am also looking for a summer job and if that works out, then my Summer would get more exciting.
